2. Description of Service

Catch A Drive is a ride-sharing platform that connects riders with drivers. We facilitate bookings and payments but are not a transportation provider. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Catch A Drive.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Verify your email address and phone number
• Maintain the security of your account

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Bookings

When you create a booking:

• You agree to pay the fare amount displayed at the time of booking
• Fares are calculated based on distance, duration, and applicable rates
• All fares are in Australian Dollars (AUD)
• Fares are final unless modified through our price match process

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the fare amount.

4.3 Price Matching

We offer a price match feature where riders can request a lower fare by providing evidence of a cheaper competitor price. The driver may accept, decline, or make a counter offer. If a rider declines a counter offer, the booking is cancelled and the transaction ends.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Rider Cancellations

Riders may cancel bookings subject to our cancellation policy. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.

5.2 Driver Cancellations

If a driver cancels a booking, riders will receive a full refund.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm drivers or other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Limitation of Liability

Catch A Drive acts as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of rides provided by drivers
• The accuracy of driver information
• Any incidents, accidents, or injuries that occur during rides
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Delays or cancellations by drivers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Catch A Drive harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Catch A Drive and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
